The quiet risk

A cylinder looks fine, right up until it isn't.

Your CNG cylinder holds gas at around 200 bar, every day, for years. What weakens it happens out of sight.

Damage you can't see

Corrosion and thinning start on the inside of the wall. Only opening, measuring and pressure-testing the cylinder shows them.

A rule many people miss

Hydro-testing is mandatory every three years, yet many CNG owners don't know their cylinder's test is due, or overdue.

Tested means trusted

A passed test and a valid certificate mean the cylinder has been checked against PESO's rules, not just looked at.

Inside the test

What actually happens to your cylinder.

Ten steps, every time, to the rules laid down by PESO. Scroll to follow your cylinder through them.

Technicians working in the PLS cylinder testing bay
“The number of CNG vehicles is growing, but compliance is still very poor. A lot of people don't know about the periodic test that must be done once every three years. It's necessary to avoid any fatal accident caused by using non-tested or expired cylinders.”
Mr. Sanjay Kr. Singhal · Founder & Director, PLS Automobile Services
